"Through Trust, Respect, & Responsibility the staff, students, and parents will work cooperatively to create a learning environment for the success of all students."

Welcome to Oregon-Davis Schools!

  • Dear students and families,

Welcome to 2015!  Let’s hope Mother Nature has no further interruptions in store for us.  But please remember if we should be delayed or cancelled, please listen for the all call via phone and listen to the local media.  We will do everything in our power to have school, but safety is a top priority.

We are beginning a new semester here at the jr/sr high school, so we would like to encourage all our students to start the new grading period off on a positive note.  It is important to stay on top of school work and meet school and classroom responsibilities.

A big congratulations to our December Students of the Month: Austin Beaucahmp, Bobby Pucel, Jenny Quinn, Deanna Sanchez, and Arley Thacker.  These students were identified for exhibiting trust, respect, and responsibility in their actions.  We are proud of these students who are working to meet our expectations.  Our Staff Member of the Month is Mrs. VanDeMark.  We wish to thank her for being a positive influence for our school and to our students!

We continue to move forward to meet the needs of all our students.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.  We want to continue to work with you to ensure success for your children.

"Through Trust, Respect, & Responsibility the staff, students, and parents will work cooperatively to create a learning environment for the success of all students."

    Sincerely,
    Mr. Tim Pletcher
    Principal

  • Oregon-Davis Jr/Sr High School is looking toward the future with a vision of an evolving curriculum and an instructional model that will provide the best educational opportunities for our students. We strive to maintain an atmosphere that is student-centered and builds collegiality, student/teacher rapport, parent and community involvement. Oregon-Davis is fortunate to be a part of a community that displays a tremendous amount of pride in the people and programs that comprise our school. Maintaining and building upon this tradition of support is the backbone of “Bobcat Pride”.

We are a high school accredited by the Indiana Department of Education and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Our curriculum is comprehensive, including both vocational and college preparation that includes the opportunity for advanced placement and dual enrollment courses. Our average enrollment is 330, 7-12 with a teaching faculty of twenty-three making our teacher/student ratio 1:15. Recent renovations and updates to our facilities allow us to provide our teachers and students the optimal environment for teaching and learning within the "New Tech Concept" which began in the 2010-11 school year. Our technology department is developing and improving in order to meet the needs of our students in a changing society where accessing technology is a vital part of the education.  Our students 7-12 are 1:1 with an Apple Laptop which can be used in the development of the 21st Century students at Oregon-Davis.
