"Through Trust, Respect, & Responsibility the staff, students, and parents will work cooperatively to create a learning environment for the success of all students."

Welcome to Oregon-Davis Schools!

  • Dear students and families,

Welcome to December!  We only have about 3 weeks left until the end of the semester and Winter Break.  Please help us by reminding your children the importance of finishing the semester on a high note.  For high school students, the end of the semester means they will be earning credit.  For this reason, it is especially important they finish strong and do well on their finals.

Final Exams will be on December 18th and 19th.

Congratulations to our students of the month from November: Sara Berg, Taylor Collins, Quentin Luse, Deanna McMillan, Alaina Mulcahey, Sonia Raygoza, Devin Taylor, and Riley Trott.  Great job to all for exhibiting trust, respect, and responsibility!  And our Faculty  of the Month is Mrs. Gainey.  Thank you for all you do for our students!
Many activities and quality learning experiences have been taking place, and the school would also like to remind everyone and celebrate the FFA students who have qualified for state competition:

Dalton Good (12th) - 1st place in Forestry CDE, Individual Competition

Becky Pucel, Emily Niles, Shyanna Saylor (all 8th) - 2nd place in Crops Judging, Junior  Team Division Competition

Delaney Shively (12th), Amanda Niles (11th), Bobby Pucel (10th), Audrey Crawford (9th) - 5th place in Crops Judging, Senior Division Team Competition

Good Luck to you all at Purdue on Saturday, December 13.  We are very proud of these Bobcats!

I would also like to again remind families that Oregon-Davis Jr/Sr High School is going through the AdvancEd Accreditation process during the 2014-1015 school year.  This process requires us to complete an internal review, host an external review, and gather information from parents, students, and staff.  We would appreciate your help by providing us valuable feedback.

If you have not done so yet, PLEASE take a moment to complete the survey

We continue to move forward to meet the needs of our students.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.  We want to continue to work with you to ensure the success of all our students.

"Through Trust, Respect, & Responsibility the staff, students, and parents will work cooperatively to create a learning environment for the success of all students."

  • Oregon-Davis Jr/Sr High School is looking toward the future with a vision of an evolving curriculum and an instructional model that will provide the best educational opportunities for our students. We strive to maintain an atmosphere that is student-centered and builds collegiality, student/teacher rapport, parent and community involvement. Oregon-Davis is fortunate to be a part of a community that displays a tremendous amount of pride in the people and programs that comprise our school. Maintaining and building upon this tradition of support is the backbone of “Bobcat Pride”.

We are a high school accredited by the Indiana Department of Education and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Our curriculum is comprehensive, including both vocational and college preparation that includes the opportunity for advanced placement and dual enrollment courses. Our average enrollment is 330, 7-12 with a teaching faculty of twenty-three making our teacher/student ratio 1:15. Recent renovations and updates to our facilities allow us to provide our teachers and students the optimal environment for teaching and learning within the "New Tech Concept" which began in the 2010-11 school year. Our technology department is developing and improving in order to meet the needs of our students in a changing society where accessing technology is a vital part of the education.  Our students 7-12 are 1:1 with an Apple Laptop which can be used in the development of the 21st Century students at Oregon-Davis.
  • The mission of the Oregon-Davis School Corporation is to provide quality learning opportunities for all students allowing each individual to reach their fullest potential by developing independent thinking, respect for self and others, positive attitudes, everyday living skills, and the motivation to achieve in the competitive world in which we live.  The school will provide these opportunities by educating the students to communicate effectively, gather and use information appropriately and accept responsibility for the decisions which are made in the ever-changing society.

"Through Trust, Respect, and Responsibility the staff, students, and parents will work cooperatively to create a learning environment for the success of all students."
