    Dear students and families,

I would also like to remind families that Oregon-Davis Jr/Sr High School is going through the AdvancEd Accreditation process during the 2014-1015 school year.  This process requires us to complete an internal review, host an external review, and gather information from parents, students, and staff.  We would appreciate your help by providing us valuable feedback.

We ask that you complete a brief on-line survey.  All participants remain anonymous, but the data will help us in our efforts to deliver the best instruction possible to our students.

Please visit the survey at this address: http://www.advanc-ed.org/survey/public/4010888

I am very proud of the work we are doing here at the Jr/Sr high school.  We keep looking for ways to better address the needs of all our students.  And of course if you have any concerns or questions, please contact us.  We want to build positive relationships with our parents and families as well.

"Through Trust, Respect, & Responsibility the staff, students, and parents will work cooperatively to create a learning environment for the success of all students."

    Mr. Tim Pletcher

  • Oregon-Davis Jr/Sr High School is looking toward the future with a vision of an evolving curriculum and an instructional model that will provide the best educational opportunities for our students. We strive to maintain an atmosphere that is student-centered and builds collegiality, student/teacher rapport, parent and community involvement. Oregon-Davis is fortunate to be a part of a community that displays a tremendous amount of pride in the people and programs that comprise our school. Maintaining and building upon this tradition of support is the backbone of “Bobcat Pride”.

We are a high school accredited by the Indiana Department of Education and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Our curriculum is comprehensive, including both vocational and college preparation that includes the opportunity for advanced placement and dual enrollment courses. Our average enrollment is 330, 7-12 with a teaching faculty of twenty-three making our teacher/student ratio 1:15. Recent renovations and updates to our facilities allow us to provide our teachers and students the optimal environment for teaching and learning within the "New Tech Concept" which began in the 2010-11 school year. Our technology department is developing and improving in order to meet the needs of our students in a changing society where accessing technology is a vital part of the education.  Our students 7-12 are 1:1 with an Apple Laptop which can be used in the development of the 21st Century students at Oregon-Davis.
  • The mission of the Oregon-Davis School Corporation is to provide quality learning opportunities for all students allowing each individual to reach their fullest potential by developing independent thinking, respect for self and others, positive attitudes, everyday living skills, and the motivation to achieve in the competitive world in which we live.  The school will provide these opportunities by educating the students to communicate effectively, gather and use information appropriately and accept responsibility for the decisions which are made in the ever-changing society.

"Through Trust, Respect, and Responsibility the staff, students, and parents will work cooperatively to create a learning environment for the success of all students."
